I use a blumatt gravity fed watering system when I go auto. I also grow in living soil top dressing dry amendments. I have a 5gal bucket as a reservoir. In heavy flower two plants use about 2gal a day. Build a soil actually sells pre set blumats for living soil that work with gravity or a pump and pressur system.

I direct sow my seeds so transplanting is out. I used to do the whole solo, 1 gal, 5 gal, but I found it to be unnecessary. If your seedlings are leggy you need more light.
