Got something going on with one of my grows that I have not really dealt with before. I have two Humboldt Trainwreck plants going in Canna Coco and using their nutrient package. They seem really dry, like they were cut out of crêpe paper. Their coloration was pretty light and I had some spots that appeared to be a magnesium deficiency so I…

You’re under-watering them. A pint every 10 hours in a 7 gallon pot is not keeping the coco evenly saturated. They probably need about a gallon a day at that size. Water to run off when you water in coco.

Hey dgc im switching media. What do i need to do before i use in transplant. Do i need to wash this stuff first. I hear people using it without doing that. Ill be using cal mag every water and feed

Im pretty sure that one is labled ready to use. I’m not sure if that means just washed or if it is buffered with cal mag as well. I’m interested in more replies. I would assume if it had cal mag added, it would say that in the bag. I use bricks of “buffered” coco from Home Depot. I buffer it with double label rate of cal mag before planting.
