I feel like I’m using the simplest method but never hear anyone talk about it here’s how I germinate I am a new grower but everyone I’ve done this way has been successful and it can’t get any easier.

I use a hybrid method. I soak for 24 hours then dump into a paper towel. The best of both worlds. ha.

I’ve never deviated from the paper towel method but now with recharge. Haven’t been happier.

I’ve done the paper towel method multiple times before, just have to make sure the tap root doesn’t try to grow into the paper towel…. Now I soak the seeds in a shot glass to distilled water and a few drops of 3% peroxide for 24-36 hours and then direct sow into final fabric pot and cover the area with the seed with clear solo cup for…

lol i just drowned a bunch of seeds… Careful how long u soak for or how much water is in the ziplock on the paper towel. tap root came out but the water rotted the inside. My wifies cosmetic textured cotton pads have these dimples the seeds sit in and that’s gone really well. The cotton seems to hold moister without keeping the seed…

That’s all I’ve used. I was being cheap not wanting to buy another filter the first time. I have no idea how many times I’ll be able to do this but it’s working for now. Google says there’s a chance of releasing toxins and such that were stored in the carbon. When you blow the hot air through there is a smell. Maybe that’s what it is maybe… Read more

I take mine to the tub and spray them with water, inside and out. The internet says not to do this but it works for me. I’ve washed the one in my 2×4 4-5 times so far. Mostly because of my humidifier and hard water. The little holes in the filter get clogged with very fine powder, calcium I think. An air compressor or canned air might be enough… Read more
