Yes. LemonHoko (a breeder) does this standard. Once the tops of plants are ready, he harvests the top 25% or so of the plant, and throws them all back in reveg. Then, he dries and cures the buds from his pheno hunt, and samples them all. The keepers, he fully reveges and takes clones from. The rest, he flowers out and smokes.

Personally, I suggest taking clones before flower.

You need to hand water it in the the top. Never put it in the reservoir, since it won’t reach the roots correctly that way, and it can clog your pump(s) and line(s).

Do you boil or otherwise sterilize those plugs before use?

I added UVA-II lights from AC Infinity. No idea what they do or don’t do, yet. But I’m going to have samples to compare with in about 4 months and 3 weeks.

Why the interrupted night cycle? Why not just do 13/11?

You can trim the roots, unless it’s an autoflower. I wouldn’t try it with fast flowers either, frankly. It could make them flower from the stress. Anything else, yes, you can trim them.

Yes, that was my point. What most call “Genetic Drift” isn’t.

So that you know, LemonHoko’s Blueberry is descended from DJ Short’s Blueberry going way, way back. That’s why I asked you if you had ever grown Lem’s Blueberry, or had a chance to speak to him.

Are you okay? Your responses seem more sharp than usual. 😁 I hope you don’t get the winter blues like I do. It’s no fun at all.

And sometimes, it’s disease. Thanks for the tip on DJ Short – I’ll get both and see which one I like more. 👍

I’m sorry, but LemonHoko has been around forever and is highly regarded. Have you ever talked to him, or grow out his famous Blueberry line? He’s been in the game for 30+ years, etc.

They’ll flower at 14/10 in many cases, 13/11 is still flower lighting. I don’t understand what the point of the break in the night cycle is for?

Do you happen to have the Amazon links to the specific parts you purchased for this? I also use RealBuckets and that would be super handy!

I highly recommend getting RAW Genetics J R Token Cut. Their clone site is https://secretseoections.io/ and if they still have it, I HIGHLY recommend the Rainbow Berries!
